Save sections and templates for reuse
Two ways to reuse your work — save a single section exactly as-is, or save a whole experience's layout as a template that refills with fresh content. Here's when to reach for each.

Once you've built something you like, you shouldn't have to rebuild it. Playbook gives you two ways to reuse work — and they behave differently on purpose. A saved section keeps one block exactly as you made it. A saved template reuses a whole experience's layout and refills it with new content. Pick the one that matches what you're trying to repeat.
Saved sections — one block, kept exactly as-is
A saved section is a single section you've customized, saved so you can drop it into any experience — verbatim. Your exact copy, images, and styling come along unchanged. That's the whole point: it's finished, and it stays finished.
- To save one: in the editor, select a section on the canvas and click the bookmark ("Save section") on its toolbar.
- To reuse it: click Add, open the Sections tab, and choose the Saved category. Your saved sections live there — you can organize them into folders. Insert one and it drops in exactly as you saved it.
Reach for saved sections when you want the same block in many places: a testimonial you love, a guarantee bar, a shipping-promise strip, a seasonal announcement.
Saved templates — a whole layout, refilled for the new brief
A saved template is a whole experience's layout and styling, saved as a starting point. The difference that matters: when you apply a template, Playbook writes fresh copy, imagery, and icons for whatever you're building next. You keep the structure that works; the content is made new for the new product or audience. (Your own uploaded video clips and custom icons are preserved — those can't be regenerated. Only the built-in glyph icons get re-picked.)
- To save one: open an experience's ⋮ menu and choose Save as Template, or use Save current as template in the editor's Templates panel. Give it a name, and optionally note what the layout is for (or let Draft with AI write that for you). (Saving as a template is available for new-model experiences.)
- To reuse it: in Create, the template gallery ("Start with a template") shows your saved templates under an "Our templates" tab — pick one and it becomes the starting point for a fresh experience. (That tab only appears once you've saved at least one template, so don't worry if you don't see it yet.) You can also switch templates from inside the editor's Templates panel.
Reach for saved templates when you love a layout's structure and want to reuse it across products, audiences, or campaigns — with new content each time.

Tips
- Save the blocks you repeat verbatim — trust bars, guarantees, announcements — as sections.
- Save the layouts you love as templates, and let Playbook refill them per product or audience.
- Templates keep your videos and custom icons. Everything else is written fresh, so a template never drags stale copy into a new experience.
